Support a good cause while having fun. Join us for the 4th annual race, benefiting DFW Lab Rescue. We are a non profit 501 (c) 3 organization which operates solely on private donations. Our average cost per dog is over $600, yet our adoption fee is only $275. We charge the same adoption fee for all our dogs, regardless of their past health. In order to make up for the difference between the actual cost of the dog and our adoption rate, we rely on special events/fundraisers like this to help supplement the costs.

Run for Retrievers 5k/1 mile itinerary:

7:00am: Race day registration and packet pickup
8:00 am: 1 Mile start
8:30 am: 5K start
9:30 am: Awards ceremony

Entry Fees for the 5k: (INCLUDES Technical Running Shirt)

$25 until August 17th
$30 August 18th through September 12th
$35 Race Day

Entry Fees for the 1 Mile:

$15 until August 17th
$20 August 18th through September 12th

Race Information and Guidelines:

Dogs are highly discouraged for the 5K race but encouraged for the 1 Mile fun run/walk. All dogs MUST be up to date on vaccinations, on leash and friendly with other dogs. Some of our available dogs for adoption will be present for a Meet and Greet following the 1Mile run/walk.
